Bought the Harrier in 2022 when had become a recent empty nester and decided to go back to my first love of pre-baby and marriage days 😊   Have treated her very gently (much to the amusement of friends and family):

-        Barely drove her the first few months – instead admired her while she was safely parked in the covered basement parking;

-        Did not let anyone else drive it;

-        Do not give it to valet;

-        Washed it myself for the first one year

-        Done two round trips to Bombay via Goa – some stretches solo.

-        Do not let anyone eat or drink in the car (few exceptions during one long distance trip)

-        No smoking allowed

Family car is coming back and my daily commute has shortened to less than 3 km.  I can totally see the car giving years of driving pleasure to someone who would like the joy of driving a ‘’new SUV’’ without having to pay the full price – i.e. take advantage of the depreciation given that the similar variant vehicle landed cost is now INR 32 lac++.
