I had Santro AMT which had Wired apple carplay and android auto and it only supported wired apple carplay so i had to keep my phone connected to infotainment unit all the time for navigation and music.. I was looking for some ways to make it wireless and i came across CarLinkIt devices which helps to convert your wired carplay to wireless using the device.
i did some reason and ordered Tbox Lite variant which comes with Android 11 so i could use YouTube, Netflix and many other apps. I bought this device in Nov 2023 and it is working like charm. Only reason I am selling this is because I have upgraded my car to i20 and it comes with wireless carplay out of the box so this device won't be compatible with it.
P.S - It comes with Android 11 so App support is limited. I have tried using YouTube,Netflix, SonyLiv and it works great.
This device is compatible with all cars that has wired carplay/Android Auto out of the box.
To use this device, simply plug the device to your wired carplay USB port and it will load its OS and you can then connect your phone.
To use streaming apps you'll have to use your phones hotspot.
